Chain application: Clean chain with a good Degreaser like OneMfg Bike Degreaser. Dry chain. Apply oil to each link. Wipe off excess.

Other moving part application: Clean part with a towel or a good Degreaser like OneMfg Bike Degreaser. Wipe off excess.
