Tubeless Bicycle Rim Tape for Aluminum and Carbon Rims 60 yds.

Use: Tubeless wheel set-up. 60 yards will tape aprox. 30 single layer 26" wheels. A single layer of tape is good for 45lbs. of air pressure. We recommend using two layers for ultimate durability.

Applying: ONE MFG TESA Tape works the best when the hoop is clean. Our Rim Tape will work well even if old tape residue and sealant cannot be removed. Apply two high-tension layers. Toxic chemicals are not necessary to clean the rim and will damage the rim materials.

Pro Tip: The main trick is to pull the tape as hard as you can across hoop while sealing spoke holes when installing. Apply two complete layers around rim. Take care to not allow tape to ride up the side of the rims edges, which can interfere with the rim-lock design of rim. If the rim has a bead polished texture the tape may not stick well. Use a small piece of Duck Tape to stick the Tubeless tape to the hoop. Or you can try spraying a light coat inside of hoop with a 3M spray adhesive. Let dry, then tightly wrap rim with two layers of tape, (all one piece). Keep the seam away from the valve stem hole. Using the pointy end of your valve stem, poke a tiny hole in the tape and insert the valve stem. While pressing the rubber end of valve stem and carefully wiggling the stem, tighten the nut as hard as you can with your fingers only (not tools).
